18-Wheeler Accident Case
Nearly $4 Million was awarded to our client as compensation for a tractor-trailer accident in which the tractor-trailer operator failed to yield the right-of-way. Our client was left with significant serious injuries to the head and spine.
Our client’s claims settled for nearly 4 million dollars ($3,987,571.93). The case arose out of a tractor-trailer collision that occurred in April 2022, in Laredo, Texas. The Firm’s client was operating his vehicle and lawfully approaching an intersection with no traffic control device and with the right-of-way, when the tortfeasor, who was operating a tractor-trailer combination owned by a commercial motor carrier and approaching the intersection with a stop sign, failed to yield the right-of-way and entered the intersection, causing the subject collision.
The Firm’s client suffered significant serious injuries as a result of the collision, including a displaced blowout fracture of the left inferior orbital floor and multiple facial fractures, a traumatic brain injury and cervical and lumbar disc herniations, the former having required an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.
